As a child, I was captivated by the family photo albums my mother made. During my teenage years, I used my Kodak Instamatic camera to take pictures of friends, family, and various events. Perhaps I was born to be a photographer.

Photography became essential to my creative life. As my interest in photography expanded, I decided to pursue this passion academically, earning both a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Arts in Art History focusing on photography’s history. This academic journey introduced me to the work of numerous distinguished photographers, marking a period of significant exploration and professional growth.

Despite having pursued a successful career in healthcare, I have consistently maintained my passion for photography, using my camera as a tool to interpret the world around me. Now that I am retired, I am dedicating my efforts to further developing my photographic vision and artistic expression.

I realize there exists a profound bond between humanity and the natural world, a connection that transcends time and culture. Throughout history, artists, poets, and storytellers have found their muse in the untamed beauty of the Earth, drawing inspiration from the rhythmic waves of the ocean, the whisper of leaves in the wind, and the silent majesty of wildlife. These elements evoke a sense of wonder, grounding us and reminding us of our shared existence within this vast ecosystem.

The natural world is my primary focus. I explore both large and small landscapes, each with their unique beauty. Expansive vistas are majestic, while intimate scenes are often overlooked. All landscapes feature rich colors, intricate patterns, and amazing textures from flora, fauna, and atmospherics. I'm drawn to the endless wonders of our beautiful planet. I also seek many other subjects beyond nature’s realm.
